Delist Bitcoin SV: Crypto Exchanges United Behind Binance

Craig Wright has definitely managed to get Bitcoin SV in a tight spot. One after the other, crypto exchange CEOs are getting tired of him and cutting ties with his cryptocurrency. Kraken is the next big crypto exchange which decided to delist Bitcoin SV.

Both Binance and ShapeShift recently decided to delist Bitcoin SV. Changpeng Zhao kicked the whole process in the beginning of the week and Kraken decided to hold an online vote to see what its clients wanted.

The result was not surprising at all as the majority of the clients voted for the exchange to delist Bitcoin SV as quickly as possible. After the desire of the people became clear, Kraken stated:

„The people have spoken. Kraken will delist Bitcoin SV.”

The sheer amount of animosity that has been building up against Wright on twitter didn’t do Bitcoin SV any favors. Binance’s CEO kept his word and delisted Wright’s currency and labeled him a fraud.

Zhao’s decision quickly reflected back and Bitcoin SV took a 9% price drop. Binance was the 3rd-biggest market for Bitcoin SV. CoinMarketCap shows that the trading volume exceeded $9 million in a 24-hour period.

After Binance, Erik Voorhees, the CEO of ShapeShift, did not waste any times and quickly announced that he fully supports Binance and will also delist Bitcoin SV.

The decision to delist Bitcoin SV was getting easier over time

Wright was officially claiming he was Satoshi Nakamoto and threatened to sue everyone who called him a fraud. In their announcement, Kraken made sure to underline just how much over the top Craig Wright went:

“Over the last few months, Bitcoin SV’s team were engaged in a behavior absolutely antithetical to everything we at Kraken and the whole crypto community stand for. Fraudulent claims and threats of legal action against people speaking out were normal. The threats made to individual members of the community however, were the last straw.”

One person who is very vocal about Craig Wright is the host of the “What Bitcoin Did” podcast, Peter McCormack. He is actively following all the exchanges and wallets which have had enough of Wright’s behavior.

Some platforms managed to completely avoid all drama as they never listed Bitcoin SV to begin with. Gemini and eToro were very open about their opinion towards Wright and never worked with him.

If Craig Wright does not stop with his completely reckless behavior, he will risk complete and total expulsion from the crypto community and the end of his project.
